About Classical Heardle
What is Classical Heardle?
Classical Heardle is a free music quiz in the browser, inspired by Heardle: you hear 1 s of a classical piece and guess the composer, with longer clips if you need them. Every day brings a new daily challenge, the same for everyone, plus a 30-level quest and unlimited free play.
How the Classical Heardle daily challenge works
Every day brings one new track, the same for every player. You hear 1 s of it and have 3 tries to find the composer; each miss or skip unlocks a longer clip (1 s, 4 s and 8 s).
Win to grow your streak, then share your result without spoiling the answer. Past days can be replayed from the calendar, but they do not count toward stats or the streak.
Classical music
From the Baroque of Bach and Vivaldi to the 20th century of Ravel and Orff, by way of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Tchaikovsky: you hear an excerpt of a famous work and guess who composed it. Many of these pieces are known from ads or films without people always knowing who wrote them.
