About Classical Heardle
What is Classical Heardle?
Classical Heardle is a free music quiz in the browser, inspired by Heardle: you hear 1 s of a classical piece and guess the composer, with longer clips if you need them. Every day brings a new daily challenge, the same for everyone, plus a 30-level quest and unlimited free play.
How to play Classical Heardle
Press play to hear 1 s of a track, then type the composer. Not sure? Unlock a longer clip (1 s, 3 s, 6 s and 12 s): the sooner you answer, the more points you score (4, 3, 2, 1). Name the exact track title afterwards for one more point. You start with 3 hearts and lose one per mistake.
Free play has several modes: Classic, Sudden death (one heart), Time attack (90 seconds), Reverse (find the right clip among three) and Single game. Correct answers in a row build a combo, and the best scores go on the leaderboard.
